Kloster Birnau
Kloster Birnau is a historic baroque pilgrimage church set above the northern shore of Lake Constance surrounded by terraced vineyards and landscaped grounds. Built in the 18th century, the site combines ornate architecture with a peaceful hillside setting overlooking the lake. This creates some amazing photography opportunities ranging from capturing the detailed exterior against vineyard rows to wider compositions that include the lake and distant Alpine backdrop on clear days. The grounds are open and easy to explore, with paths leading to elevated viewpoints.
