L'Estacade de Capbreton is a historic wooden pier stretching well out into the bay with a small lighthouse. The pier is mirrored by a cement pier running along the north side of the canal entrance. The pier is especially photogenic during sunset or rough weather (especially during high tide when the waves will sometimes wash right over the pier). (Capbreton, France)
