Lac de Taney
Lac de Taney is a dark blue lake is surrounded by flower-strewn fields, tall, fragrant fir trees and rocks. The many flowers here include the alpine rose, monk's hood and mountain violet among others. Frogs croak on the shore and the shady forests nearby attract alpine salamanders. This miniature paradise is located at an altitude of 1,500 m and overlooks the Rhone valley. (Vouvry, Switzerland)
