Lago Pietranzoni is a scenic alpine lake tucked away surrounded by Gran Sasso mountain range on all sides. The lake is often perfectly still creating an amazing mirror to experiment with reflection photography. The size of the lake does vary quite a bit throughout the year depending on the precipitation and the melting of the snow. (L'Aquila, Province of L'Aquila, Italy)
