Laomei Green Reef is a lovely beachfront with a very unusual stone formation along the North Coast near the Laomei Community. As the tide goes down these amazing rows of rocks covered in bright green algae are revealed. (Be aware theses are very slippery!) This phenomenon occurs every April and May after the northeast monsoons die down. As the weather warms, the seaweed gradually disappears with exposure to the sun.
