Shoot from the riverside walkway at water level to include the Thames in the foreground, using the bridge as a natural leading line into the scene. A wide angle lens, around 24mm, captures the full sweep of the skyline, while a short telephoto around 70mm lets you compress the bridge and tower into a tighter, more dramatic frame. Blue hour, just after sunset or before sunrise, is the sweet spot here, when the buildings are artificially lit and the sky holds a deep blue tone that balances the warm lights perfectly.
