Lower Lewis River Falls

Lower Lewis River Falls is a striking, 200-ft.-wide cascade tucked away in a tranquil forest setting. On the left side is a churning trough which gathers most of the water flow, and there are several viewpoints to capture the scene from. The moss-cloaked forest of the Lewis River with its giant cedars, old logs, ancient stumps and rushing water make the waterfall even more photogenic. (Cougar, Washington, USA)
