Marymere Falls
Marymere Falls, nestled in the heart of Olympic National Park near Lake Crescent, is a stunning 90-foot waterfall cascading through a moss-draped ravine surrounded by old-growth forest. The short, well-maintained trail to the falls begins near the Storm King Ranger Station and winds through a canopy of towering firs and ferns, providing excellent opportunities for nature and macro photography along the way. The waterfall itself is ideal for long-exposure shots, especially in the soft light of morning or late afternoon. Accessible year-round, the trail is easy to moderate, making it a popular yet peaceful destination. A small parking lot is available near the trailhead, with restrooms and picnic areas nearby.
