Mirror Lake
Mirror Lake is a small mountain lake framed by a pair of wooded ridges and on a clear, calm day water like glass. A scenic trail circles the lake over a marshy area that hugs the lake’s western shore. From Mirror Lake, the top of Mount Hood is just 7 miles away and this creates some spectacular shooting opportunities from the southern edge of the lake. The trailhead is easily accessible along the Mt Hood Highway. You will need a Northwest Forest Pass, America the Beautiful Pass or to pre-purchase a day pass as there is no fee pay station at this trailhead. (Government Camp, Oregon, USA)
