Part of Multnomah Creek, the Multnomah falls are a stunning waterfall located in the Columbia River Gorge. The gorge is full of waterfalls, but Multnomah Falls may be the most photogenic. The waterfall is accessible from Interstate 84 and the historic Columbia River Highway. The Waterfall has a height of more than 600 feet and features 2 drops, making it the tallest waterfall in the state of Oregon. What makes this photo spot notable is the inclusion of the bridge which has the effect of giving the viewer a sense of scale. Because of the popularity of the falls, it is best to visit the Multnomah waterfall either very early in the morning or in the winter. There are a number of hiking trails in the area, so dress appropriately to the weather conditions. (Cascade Locks, Oregon, USA)
