Kedleston Hall is a large 18th century country house just outside Derby, set in a huge park with open fields, lakes, and long tree lined paths. It was built for the Curzon family and the whole place feels designed to look impressive from every angle, especially as you approach along the main drive. The building itself has a really balanced, symmetrical look with columns and a central dome, which makes it easy to line up clean shots. Out in the grounds, you have loads of space to work with, whether you want wide landscape views, reflections in the water, or leading lines from the paths and trees. It is a good spot to just wander and see what works, as there are plenty of quieter corners away from the main area. Early morning or late afternoon gives you the best light across the stone and the park. (Derby, England, United Kingdom)
