About Neath Abbey Ruins
Neath Abbey was a Cistercian monastery dating back to 1129 and was once the largest abbey in Wales. As the area shifted to a more industrial focus the abbey was abandoned and left to fall into ruins starting around 1730. (Neath in South Wales)
