The Old Harbor Life-Saving Station Museum is a unique shooting gem. This rescue station was originally built in Chatham in 1897 and used by the U.S. Life-Saving Service. The station was decommissioned in 1944, abandoned and sold as surplus in 1947, then was used as a private residence for the next twenty-five years. In the late 1970's it was salvaged and carefully brought to Provincetown by barge. (Provincetown, Massachusetts, USA)
