Passerelle des Deux Rives, Strasbourg–Kehl
Passerelle des Deux Rives is a pedestrian and cycling bridge that spans the Rhine River, linking Strasbourg in France with Kehl in Germany. The modern design features a wide, curved deck and sweeping steel structure, creating strong lines that naturally lead across the frame. It is a great spot to play with symmetry and perspective, whether you shoot along the length of the bridge or from the riverbanks below. The surrounding Jardin des Deux Rives on both sides adds open space and greenery, which helps balance the structure in wider shots. You can also use the river itself for reflections or to add depth to your compositions. Early morning is quieter with softer light, while evening brings warmer tones and a bit more atmosphere as people move across the bridge. It is easy to access from either side, making it a straightforward and flexible location to shoot. (Strasbourg, France / Kehl, Germany)
