Rainbow Lakes

Rainbow Lakes is a series of 9 connected lakes and beaver ponds tucked away in the forest at the end of a scenic hike. The views and beauty of the lakes are impressive and worth all effort to get there. At over 10,000’ elevation on the Continental Divide this area is a great place to go in the crisp fall days when the aspen groves are ablaze in red and gold. There is plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities here too, with elk and moose frequenting the beaver ponds. (Nederland, Colorado, USA)
