Romsey Abbey

Romsey Abbey sits just a short walk from the town centre and is one of those places that is surprisingly impressive once you get close. The scale of the Norman architecture, with its thick stone walls, rounded arches, and detailed carvings, gives you plenty to work with both inside and out. Outside, you can shoot the full structure from different angles around the grounds, or focus on smaller details like doorways and textures in the stone. Inside is just as rewarding, with soft light filtering through stained glass, long columns, and clean lines that work really well for more atmospheric shots. It is a good spot if you like mixing wider architectural frames with quieter, more intimate details. Since it is easy to access in Romsey, it pairs well with a slower walk around the town and nearby locations. (Romsey, Hampshire, England, United Kingdom)
