About Royal Arch
Found at the end of the aptly named Royal arch trail is the Royal Arch, a beautiful natural geological formation. From the arch, there is a scenic view of Boulder and on clear days you can see as far as Denver. The hike tot he location is moderately difficult and has a 7000ft elevation climb. The climb is easy to follow and much of the hike is on stepped rocks, however on a few spots, you will need your hands for support. Hiking boots are necessary for the descent.
