Sandymouth Bay Beach is a gorgeous National Trust beach set against a dramatic back-drop of sheer cliffs. When the tide is out, the fantastic sandy beach is exposed and it is often much quieter than the other main beaches. At low tide you can walk the 2 miles from Crooklets Beach to Sandymouth along the beach; you may see a shipwreck buried in the sand and look out for the honeycomb structures of the sandcastle worm.
