Seebrücke Kellenhusen
The Seebrücke Kellenhusen is a striking wooden pier stretching into the Baltic Sea, made distinctive by a series of white metal arches that form a natural tunnel running its full length. These arches are the real draw for photographers, offering a strong leading line that pulls the eye toward the open water and creates satisfying symmetry from a low, centered position. A wide-angle lens works especially well here to exaggerate the perspective and capture the full arch sequence. Shoot during the golden hour for warm light washing across the structure, or stay into the evening when the arch lights illuminate the pier against a darkening sky, giving you a moody long-exposure opportunity. The pier is flat and easy to walk, so you can explore both ends for compositions. Afterward, the nearby promenade offers supplementary shots including the large whale sculptures and Ice Age boulders along the shoreline. (Kellenhusen, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany)
