Selestranda is a quiet coastal stretch on the Jæren coast where a row of brightly coloured boathouses lines the edge of Sele Harbor, creating a strong graphic element against the open North Sea. The contrast between the painted wooden structures, wide sandy beach, and dramatic skies makes this a versatile spot for both wide landscape and tighter architectural shots. Shoot from the waterline to get reflections in wet sand at low tide, or position yourself further back to use the boathouse row as a leading line toward the horizon. A wide angle lens works well for the full scene, while a short telephoto lets you compress the structures against the sea. Overcast days give rich, even color on the facades, but golden hour light from the west adds warmth and long shadows that bring out the texture of the buildings. The beach is easy to walk and has no significant access barriers. (Klepp, Rogaland, Norway)
