About Smugglers Cove
No visit to Santa Cruz Island is complete without a hike to the beautiful beach on the west side of the island known as Smugglers Cove. The vast beach stretches out in between to high bluffs, and if you are here in the afternoon, after the day hikers have left, then there is a good chance you will be basically alone. This shooting location is tricky to access - you'll need to take a boat to Santa Cruz Island and then hike across the island to reach Smugglers Cove. (Santa Cruz Island, California, USA)
