About St. Boniface City Hall
This building was designed by architect Victor Horwood and built in 1905 to serve the francophone community in Winnipeg's expanding suburb. The architect was immersed in controversy when found to be cutting corners and the structure, especially the tower, was modified to accommodate budget shenanigans.
