St Caomhán's Church is a ruined church that was originally built in the 10th century. Most of the ruins are now below ground level, as the church was nearly buried by drifting sands. The church was built to honor Saint Caomhán, the patron saint of Inisheer, who is buried on the grounds. (Inisheer Island, Ireland)
