Station Cove Falls
Station Cove Falls is a a 60-foot cascade over a rugged rock wall where the water breaks up into an intricate pattern of mini falls. The trail passes through a beautiful Appalachian cove forest that becomes a wildflower wonderland in the spring (you may see trillium, mayapple, pink lady's slipper orchids, bloodroot and redbud). The parking lot at the trailhead can only accommodate four or five cars, but there's plenty of additional parking in the park's picnic area just down the road.
