Sylvan Lake is a small peaceful lake that was created in 1881 when Theodore Reder built a dam across Sunday Gulch Creek. The lake is surrounded by huge rock formations that create many unique shooting opportunities, especially on calm days when the water becomes quite mirror like. (Custer State Park, South Dakota, USA)
