Teardrop Pool
Teardrop Pool sits tucked in the eroded crater of South Sister making it Oregon's highest lake. The pond is often a rich turquoise colour and may be completely frozen over depending on the weather/season. The pond can be reached along one of the many South Sister trails, the hike up to the summit should only be started during clear weather, it is possible to get caught in unexpected storms as you near the top.
