Teleglobe Satellite Station
Teleglobe Satellite Station was in 1964 as part of an extensive satellite program for the transmission of telephone and television signals between North America and Europe. The complex was abandoned in the 1990s as technology advanced and it has been slowly falling into disrepair ever since. The huge domes and satellite dishes are now gone and much of the place has been left in rough shape. (Charleston, Nova Scotia, Canada)
