The Little Mermaid
This iconic bronze sculpture sits on a low rock at the edge of the Øresund strait, and while it is famously small in person, it rewards patient photographers who work around the crowds. The key is arriving early in the morning, ideally around sunrise, when the soft northern light skims across the water and the promenade is nearly empty. Shoot from a low angle near the waterline to emphasize the figure against the sky or the open water behind her, and a longer focal length in the 85-135mm range helps isolate the statue from background clutter. Wide shots work too if you include the surrounding water and distant shoreline for context. At blue hour the reflections on the water add mood.
