This is a long system of concrete fortifications was once part of the Naval Port’s defences, but was intentionally destroyed after a friendship and cooperation agreement was signed with Germany in 1908 (just before WWI started). These fortifications and bunkers have been sitting in ruins ever since, slowly being destroyed by the power of the Baltic Sea. They are quite amazing to shoot and explore - be aware that with the shifting sands and tides they aren't as stable as they once were and couple be unsafe in places. (Liepāja, Latvia)
