The Torre de Sant Joan is an old defensive tower dating back to 1576. It now sits in ruins. When the tide is low you can walk right out to the tower, but be careful not to get stranded out there as the tide can come in much quicker than it seems. If you are lucky you may spot the flock of flamingos that inhabit this area. (El Poble Nou del Delta, Spain)
