Traversée sans retour Sculpture
The 7 years war statue has a plaque that reads: "The remains of more than 1000 Canadian, French, and British combatants who died in the 7 years war (1756-1763) lie in this cemetery. These men died either from disease or from wounds suffered during the battle of the Plains of Abraham in 1759 or the Battle of Sainte-Foy in 1760. As was customary at the time, their bodies were buried in communal graves without identification...but the Augustinian sisters kept a list of all those interred in the consecrated section of the cemetery."
