Tustin Blimp Hangar at the former Marine Corps Air Station is quite an imposing building (it measures 1,072 feet long by 292 feet wide by 192 feet tall). Built in 1942 of Oregon Douglas fir, it is one of the largest freestanding wooden structures in the world. (Tustin, California)
