Upper Church
Upper Church (Horný Kostol) is a historic hilltop chapel with intricate detailing, rich red stonework and stunning views over the entire valley. The Upper Church is part of a trio of churches that make up the historic Banská Štiavnica Calvary. This group of 1700s churches & chapels where built to depict/honour the Passion of Jesus through frescoes and statues. (Banská Štiavnica, Slovakia)
