Vale dos Lagos

Vale dos Lagos (Valley of the Lakes) is a small string of lakes that stretch from the Fountain of the Small Birds pavilion to the Entrance by the Lakes. This is a peaceful area of the Park of Pena to visit with five small bodies of water surrounded by flush forest, planted and flowering walls and lake shores. The lakes have fish and birds with amazing castle-like duck houses that have been built for the waterfowl. (Parque Nacional da Pena, Sintra, Portugal)
