Rumiñahui ("rock face"in the Quechua language) is a dormant, heavily eroded volcano of 4721m (15,489 ft) in the heart of Cotopaxi National Park. On the plains surrounding the volcano herds of wild horses can be seen. (Cotopaxi National Park, Ecuador)
