Vulcano Monte Busca is a constantly burning natural gas vent and is known as the smallest volcano in Italy. Hydrogen gases from underneath the surface burn when they come in contact with oxygen, causing the flame on the mountain to burn day and night. It is especially photogenic as it glows at night.
