The waterfront promenade near Wan Chai Ferry Pier gives you an unobstructed view across Victoria Harbour toward the Kowloon skyline, one of the most iconic cityscapes in the world. The wide, open esplanade lets you move freely along the water's edge to find your ideal framing, whether you want a compressed telephoto shot of the dense Tsim Sha Tsui skyline or a wider composition that includes the harbour traffic and foreground reflections on the water. Blue hour and nighttime are when this location truly shines, as the neon-lit buildings and the Symphony of Lights show at 8pm fill the frame with colour and energy. A 24-70mm covers most situations well, but a longer lens helps isolate specific buildings. The promenade is flat, fully accessible, and well-lit, making it comfortable to shoot late into the evening.
