Wasserfall-Arena Batöni
Three powerful waterfalls converge in a dramatic natural amphitheater, with Piltschinabach (81m), Sässbach (86m), and Muttenbach (45m) all tumbling down sheer cliff faces into the same basin, giving you an almost surreal sense of scale and enclosure. Shooting from the basin floor lets you frame all three falls in a single wide composition, while moving closer to any one of them isolates it against the rock wall for more intimate shots. A wide angle lens works well for capturing the full arena effect, and a longer exposure will smooth the water into silky threads against the dark cliffs. Midday light can be flat here due to the steep surrounding terrain, so overcast days are actually ideal as they reduce contrast and bring out the greens.
