The wind turbines lining the North Sea coast near Hvide Sande rise dramatically from the shoreline, their massive white blades contrasting against open sky and sandy beach in a way that feels both industrial and strangely serene. You can work the beach directly beneath the turbines for wide compositions that combine the spinning structures with the grassy dunes and churning North Sea in the foreground. A wide-angle lens lets you exaggerate the scale and lead the eye from wet sand up to the towering blades, while a longer lens compresses the turbines into a repeating pattern against the horizon. Overcast days soften the light and bring out the cool, moody tones typical of this coastline, but golden hour adds warmth that plays beautifully against the white structures. The beach is easily accessible on foot from Hvide Sande, and low tide exposes more foreground texture to anchor your shots. (Hvide Sande, Central Jutland, Denmark)
