Zola Dam
Barrage Zola, nestled in the commune of Le Tholonet near Aix-en-Provence, is a historic dam surrounded by lush forest and tranquil waters, offering a peaceful setting for nature photography. Built in 1854 and named after François Zola, the father of writer Émile Zola, the dam forms a small reservoir with reflective surfaces perfect for capturing mirrored landscapes.
