Zwarte Haan (Black Rooster)is a hamlet in the municipality of Waadhoeke, in the Dutch province of Friesland. It lies by the Wadden Sea, which is the largest unbroken system of intertidal sand and mud flats in the world. This nature reserve seems to stretch out endlessly with a variety of shooting opportunities as you explore including tidal channels, sandy shoals, sea-grass meadows, mussel beds, sandbars, mudflats, salt marshes, estuaries, beaches and dunes. The area is home to numerous plant and animal species, including marine mammals such as the harbour seal, grey seal and harbour porpoise. (Zwarte haan, Netherlands)
