Albert Bridge
Albert Bridge is one of London's most ornate and photogenic river crossings, a pastel-pink Victorian hybrid spanning the Thames between Chelsea and Battersea. The bridge is famous for its elaborate ironwork, candy-colored paintwork, and the thousands of light bulbs that illuminate it after dark, making night photography the standout opportunity here. Shoot from the riverbanks on either side to use the bridge as a symmetrical frame, or position yourself on the bridge itself to capture leading lines of the suspension cables converging toward the towers. The north bank near Chelsea Embankment gives you a classic wide composition, especially with a 24-35mm lens. Blue hour, just after sunset, balances the warm lights of the bridge against a deep blue sky for the most striking results. The bridge and surrounding paths are easily accessible on foot, and the area stays active well into the evening. (London, England)
