Arboretum Ellerhoop-Thiensen

Arboretum Ellerhoop-Thiensen is a beautiful botanical garden that is beautiful all year round. The focus is on over 4,000 plant species that form numerous themed gardens in the beautiful Holstein landscape. Highlights include the North German cottage garden in front of the gable of the historic Münsterhof, the backdrop of colorful autumn colors “Indian Summer”, an avenue of wisteria, the water forest with marsh cypresses and Indian lotus flowers in the park lake and a romantic rose garden.
