The ArtScience Museum is one of Singapore's most architecturally striking buildings, its lotus-inspired form rising from the edge of Marina Bay with ten petal-like fingers reaching skyward. The white facade is highly reflective and works beautifully in almost any light, but the building really comes alive at the blue hour just after sunset, when the structure glows from within and the surrounding bay adds a mirror-like reflection below. Position yourself across the waterfront promenade to capture the full silhouette against the skyline, or get closer and shoot upward from the base to emphasize the dramatic geometry of the petals. A wide-angle lens is ideal for both perspectives. The reflecting pool directly in front gives you a clean symmetrical shot on calm evenings. Weekday evenings tend to be quieter, giving you more freedom to move along the waterfront without crowds blocking your foreground. (Marina Bay, Singapore)
