This iconic clifftop trail links three of Sydney's most photogenic beaches, offering constantly changing compositions as you move between Bondi, Tamarama, and Bronte. The path winds along sandstone cliffs above crashing surf, with lookout points that give you wide-angle views of the Pacific stretching to the horizon. Some of the strongest shots come from the headlands between beaches, where you can frame waves surging into rocky coves below or capture swimmers and surfers as small figures against the vast ocean. Early morning is ideal, with golden light raking across the cliff faces and relatively few people on the path; the Icebergs pool at the Bondi end also catches beautiful light at sunrise. A wide-angle lens handles the sweeping coastal views well, while a telephoto lets you isolate wave action on the rocks. The trail is paved and easy to walk in either direction.
