The park at the base of the Burj Khalifa gives you one of the most dramatic foreground-to-subject relationships in urban photography, where manicured lawns, fountains, and palm-lined pathways lead your eye directly up toward the world's tallest tower. Shooting from low to the ground with a wide-angle lens exaggerates the tower's height and creates a strong sense of scale, while positioning yourself near the fountain pools lets you capture reflections on calm mornings. Blue hour and golden hour are both excellent here; just before sunrise the tower is often lit against a deep blue sky with minimal crowds, and evening brings the Dubai Fountain show on the adjacent lake. The park is walkable and free to enter, with multiple vantage points along the central paths letting you experiment with symmetry and leading lines. A 16-35mm range works well for capturing both the greenery and the full tower. (Dubai, United Arab Emirates)
