Château du Haut-Ribeaupierre
Château du Haut-Ribeaupierre is one of a trio of ruined castles ( Château de Saint-Ulrich and the Château du Girsberg) sitting high on this forested hilltop overlooking the surrounding valley. It is the oldest of the Ribeaupierre's castles, with its existence being known from 1084. Today most of the castle is completely in ruins and surrounded by dense vegetation. (Ribeauvillé, France)
