Driftwood Beach is a photographer’s playground tucked away on Jekyll Island's north end. Once backed by a maritime forest of lush bushes and trees protecting the waterline. Slowly over years of erosion and rugged weather, the once-thriving forest has succumbed to the elements leaving behind the gnarled, warped driftwood husks dotting the shoreline.
