Durham Botanic Garden is a really easygoing spot to spend a few hours shooting, especially if you enjoy a mix of curated and natural scenes. The garden is laid out with a variety of themed sections, from open lawns and flower beds to more shaded woodland areas, so you can switch between wider compositions and smaller detail shots without going far. The glasshouses are also worth your time, with tropical plants, textures, and humidity creating a completely different feel compared to outside. It is a nice place to experiment with color, patterns, and softer compositions, especially when the light is diffused through trees or cloud cover.
