The Great Windmill of Skerries is five-sail tower windmill dating from the mid eighteenth century. It was converted to a five-sail windmill following a fire in about 1844. The mill itself is about 4.5 metres in diameter, 15 metres high and the sails are about 20 metres in diameter. -from Wikimedia
